| Cookie's Fortune |
Excellent drama by Robert Altman.
| L5 - First City in Space |
A boring film in 3D.
| Stangers on a Train |
One of Alfred Hitchcock's many masterpieces. Everything is perfect: plot, acting,
directing, photography...

Not one of the best films of Woody Allen but still very enjoyable. Kenneth
Brannagh acting like Woody Allen is really excellent.
| Rushmore |
A wierd little comedy.
| Austin Powers 2: The Spy Who Shagged Me |
The sequel of the parody of parodies of James Bond. The scatological jokes are
just too gross and some of the gags are obviously for an American audience but
the film is still funny. It's a big budget production that pretends to be low
budget amateurish(!) film.

| Entrapment |
Silly but entertaining.

| The Mummy |
One of the worst film I have ever seen. This is a pitiful attempt to copy
the original films from the thirties. But it fails miserably: the narrative
construction is weak, the atmosphere is not there, and the acting is really
terrible. Even the special effects are quite underwhelming.

| The Matrix |

The Wachowski brothers are back after their first film "Bound". Again, the
visual aspect is striking. The story is reminiscent of "The Terminator" (and
others) and is quite logical. Nice Hong-Kong style fighting sequences. I saw
this one twice. ;-)

Probably not David Cronenberg's best film but still complex and disturbing.
Elements from most of his previous films (from the ones I've seen at least) are
present. Virtual reality inside virtual reality inside... Excellent.

| T-Rex |
A film in 3D with a real story. It starts like a docu-drama and becomes a
fiction with special effects. Some of the traditional cinematography techniques
just don't work in 3D: close-ups are horrible for example...

| A Simple Plan |
This is a very good film from Sam Raimi. Extremely dark and gloomy story about
money, greed and murder.
| The Corruptor |
This film is trying too hard to be a John Woo film! The story is interesting
enough but the film works essentially thanks to the presence of Chow Yun-Fat and
Mark Wahlberg.

| Cube |
Very nice Canadian Sci-Fi film about a group a people wandering in a deadly 3D
maze.
| Rush Hour |
I just can't stand Chris Tucker but otherwise this action-comedie is quite
enjoyable.
| Enemy of the State |
Reasonably good action film where government agencies spy on everyone.
| The Negociator |
Don't really remember it but I think it was quite good.
| Festen |
This film is truly amazing. Thomas Vinterberg filmed this familly drama
following the concept of Dogma95 (natural light, handheld camera...). And the
result is... amazing, but I said that already.

Very nice animation.
| La Vita è Bella (Life is Beautiful) |
Difficult to watch despite being very funny. I didn't like Roberto Benigni's
previous film but making a comedy on the Holocaust was quite a challenge.
| Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas |
Terry Gilliam gone completely crazy. Highly enjoyable (most of the time).
| My Name is Joe |

Ken Loach is back with another social drama. Excellent as usual but maybe not as
plausible as it should have been.
| Fire |
Brilliant Indian drama (filmed in English) about arranged marriages.
